He has been awarded another QSM (Quality Science & Math) Grant, this time for over $1,800! 🌟

The QSM Grant is a competitive award given to Louisiana public school teachers to support innovative, standards-based Math, Science, and STEM instruction. These grants fund hands-on materials and equipment that bring powerful learning experiences to life in the classroom.

Mrs. Belson’s Dual Enrollment seniors brought Shakespeare to life today 🎭✨ Students explored the deeper meaning behind his speeches, sonnets, and songs—showcasing their talents as they analyzed literary elements and even recreated musical compositions that accompany Shakespeare’s works 🎶📚 An impressive display of creativity, scholarship, and performance!

⚖️📚 Judge Meche Visits MACA! 📚⚖️ Today, Judge Jason Meche of the 27th Judicial District Court generously volunteered his time to speak with Mrs. Pitre’s and Mrs. Brower’s Social Studies classes. He led an honest and proactive discussion about real-life issues affecting today’s youth, aiming to keep students informed, aware, and on the right path. 🧪🔥🌿 Biology in Action! 🌿🔥🧪 Today, Mr. Preston’s Biology I students conducted a hands-on yeast lab to simulate the production of carbon dioxide gas. They then compared their results to how CO₂ is released during wildfires and even zombie fires in nature! This creative experiment helped students connect real-world environmental events to the biochemical processes they’re studying in class. Learning science has never been more exciting! 🌎🔬 #MACAScience #HandsOnLearning #BiologyInAction

• $300 off if you pay the $95 registration fee within 48 hours of the meeting
• Additional $100 discount if 30 or more people RSVP
