Mrs. Wilson’s 8th grade students dove into hands-on chemistry today as they designed their own hot and cold packs! This fun experiment helped them explore the differences between endothermic and exothermic reactions and see how energy can be absorbed or released.

Learning is always exciting when you can feel the science happening! 🔬😄

📣 MACA’s JAG students had a great day at Parish Government Day! 🏛️ Students visited the St. Landry Parish Courthouse and heard from Parish President Jesse Bellard, State Rep. Dustin Miller, Judge Gregory Doucet, Judge Charles Cravins, and several staff members who help keep our parish running. They toured multiple departments, enjoyed delicious gumbo 🥣, and—thanks to our awesome bus driver Mr. Bobby Ware—ended the day with Dairy Queen ice cream! 🍦 Huge thank you to our Parish government for making this educational experience possible! 💙🤍 #MACAJAG #ParishGovernmentDay #FutureLeaders

🎈💡 Today, our MACA JAG students put their leadership and creativity to the test with the Balloon Chair Challenge!
